What are Ceramides?
Essentially ceramides are lipids which are found in the outermost layer of the skin, so they are vital for supporting the skin barrier. Ceramides make up around 50% of our skin, so having them in skincare is key for skin health.
What do ceramides do for the skin? Ceramides are going to aid moisture and help repair and strengthen the skin barrier. There are so many benefits when using ceramides. All skin types can benefit from ceramides, as they’re going to really help strengthen the skin. They’re great for dry skin, as they help retain skins moisture and improve the overall condition of the skin. Sensitive skin loves ceramides as a lot of skin sensitivity is due to a compromised or weak skin barrier. Those with more oily skin who want to incorporate ceramides into their skincare routine would love the lightweight texture of Hyper Real Serumizer™. People with drier skin or sensitive skin type who prefer a richer, soothing cream would love the Hyper Real Skincanvas Balm™ on top of Hyper Real Serumizer™ for the ultimate base for makeup. Hyper Real Skincanvas Balm™ is a super-rich, ceramide rich cream which sinks into the skin and is the perfect base for makeup.
Can I use ceramide and retinol together? Using ceramide products alongside a retinol can be great option for some. The intense cell boosting benefits of a retinol can really benefit from ceramides to really help make sure the skin barrier is strong and protected during this process, especially for someone with sensitive skin.
Can I use ceramide with hyaluronic acid? Ceramides and hyaluronic acid act as the perfect pair when it comes to hydration, both are going to aid in ensuring the skin stays hydrated and moisturised. They are both perfectly formulated into Pro-4 Power Infusion Matrix™ within the Hyper Real Serumizer™ and the Hyper Real Skincanvas Balm™ actively working to give you super hydrated, nourished skin.
