"There is such a freedom within the beauty industry to express our inner thoughts and feelings with colour, just like music and dancing, you can be happy, in love, going through a break up, sad, etc. Each of these emotions we can express through our makeup. If we need a strong fierce look for an interview that we're maybe nervous about we can paint that face on and given the confidence boost that is needed to seal the deal.
Beauty to me is helping my clients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin, I do love the time spent with them in the makeup chair, the little snapshot of their lives that I get before creating looks for occasions, helping settle nerves, and just being apart of some really important life events. At the end of every interaction I always feel like I have made a friend, which is what I love so much about the beauty industry."

WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES OF WORKING IN THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY?
My favourite memory and present favorite is a busy Saturday hustle on counter with the team and our amazing playlist, creating an energetic vibe and helping everyone get ready for their outings .. hands down the best time ever!WHAT’S YOUR SIGNATURE GO-TO LOOK?
ohhhhh, this is hard, I love so many looks, but I do love a fierce red lip using Viva Glam 26, Russian red or Ruby Woo, and winged liner, using my brushstroke black pen, with fluffy MAC siren lashes. The base will be flawless and depending on what I feel like i'll have a glowing skin with studio radiance or matte with studio fix, skin finish to bronze, sunbasque or peaches with a draped blush, and a fix plus finish. This is a look I do when I mean business lol.WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO WORK WITH MAC?
I have always been a customer of MAC, and it was a dream to work on counter with the best in the business. As a teenager I loved going into MAC and soaking up the atmosphere and styling of the MAC Debenhams team, it always felt like I was in a nightclub, I remember every encounter was valuable as the counter was always jam packed, I soaked up every little bit of knowledge that I got from each artist, and from an early age was very arty and creative. I carried on with my studies and my life took me into the fitness industry, working for all of the big names for about 15 years, and freelancing on the side, until an opportunity came up for my local store and I went for it and never looked back. I then switched my roles around and do fitness classes on the side. How lucky am I to literally work in both sectors that I have so much love for.WHAT’S ONE THING PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO LEARN ABOUT YOU?
I don't have any piercings or tattoos .... yetIF YOU WEREN’T IN THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY, WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING?
In the fitness industry, taking 4 classes a day and getting very sweaty, definitely not as glam as the beauty industry that's for sure.
