WEEK 1: SUBCULTURE REVIVAL

26th June - 3rd July


Research a past U.K. subculture- anything from the 1950s to the noughties- create a modernised makeup in an editorial style piece of imagery.

Week 1 winner is Courteney Dunn!

WEEK 2: MYTHICAL COUTURE CREATURES

3rd - 10th July


Think Grimms tales in their glam era. Vogue meets mythology.
The Brief? Create a mythical creature: From high fashion sirens to full character theatrical baddie, use your own style to create a mythical creature of your own imagination.
WEEK 3: BESTIES WEEK

17th – 24th July


This week it’s all about the bestie! Celebrate your mac bestie by creating an image that shows off why you just click! This could be between you and a colleague (or two or three) or it could be those products that just sing when they’re near each other. Think candy yum yum & everybody’s heroine. Or feline & diamond crumbles. Whatever the perfect pairing, celebrate it in style!
WEEK 4: VIVA GLAM

24th - 31st July


Viva me – the lipstick for you! Create a viva glam campaign highlighting the vg pillar and shade you resonate to the most - sexual equality, gender equality, racial equality or environmental equality. This could feature a TikTok-style video pitch or a mock digital billboard advertisement wearing the relevant viva glam lip product whilst keeping your campaign rooted in the viva glam mission.
WEEK 5: TREND

31st July - 7th August


Step into the shoes of a mac creative director and bring your artistic vision to life!
Your challenge is to conceptualise and create a campaign image that showcases your chosen trend from one of the six up-and-coming global mac trends. This is your opportunity to lead the creative vision—from mood and makeup to storytelling and execution.
