WHAT IS SETTING POWDER?
Setting powder helps combats shine and sets makeup in place. It’s typically applied after foundation and concealer to create a smooth, undetectable finish. Think of setting powder as the final step in ensuring your makeup is set smudge- and transfer-proof so it looks better for longer. Incredibly versatile, setting powders help control shineprovide a matte finish and can be used to better blend bronzer and blush after foundation application. Depending on the formula, setting powders can create a more matte finish (Set Powder) or radiant finish (Studio Finish Face Powder).
Setting powders come in a variety of formulas. Some are translucent and easily match to all skin tones, while others are tinted to smooth and finish your face while adding minimal colour (Blot Powder/Pressed).
WHAT IS FULL-COVERAGE POWDER FOUNDATION?
Full-coverage powder foundation is used to help set cream or liquid foundations, control oil and create an immaculate, full-coverage finish. While some powders are translucent, a full-coverage powder foundation contains pigment to create a visibly smoother look that lasts all day. WHAT IS HIGHLIGHTING POWDER?
Highlighting powder adds a glow to skin. It’s designed to sculpt and highlight the face, giving you a luminous, well-defined finish. It’s typically added to the high points of the face (cheekbones, the bridge of the nose and brow bones) but can also be used on shoulders and décolletage area.
