The award-winning singer-songwriter has made waves for her rule-breaking musical anthems and for her bold, head-turning beauty personas, which she’s excited to showcase – even more of – in full M·A·C glam. “M·A·C has always made space for people like me; since day one they’ve embraced art, queerness, drag and self-expression,” shares Chappell Roan.
Makeup Artist Andrew Dahling collaborates with Chappell to pull references, watch drag shows and sketch ideas to bring the singer’s bold looks to life. “It’s about developing these characters through artistry,” says Chappell. She transforms from Kayleigh to Chappell through playful, experimental
looks, harnessing the power of makeup as a tool for unapologetic self-expression since her teenage years. “Growing up in the Midwest, I was always told to tone it down, but that energy is what made me who I am. I want people to feel like they can take up space and express themselves however they want – that your “too much” is your magic – and that’s been in M·A·C’s DNA from the beginning.”

Makeup Artist Andrew Dahling transformed Chappell Roan into one of her many personas for her debut look as our new Global Brand Ambassador. Andrew used Chappell’s current favourite product, M·A·Cximal Lipstick, to contrast her cloud-white complexion and dramatic glittering lashes.
- Create a cloud-white complexion with Full Coverage Foundation in White.
- Contour with Studio Fix Sculpt and Shape Contour Palette in Light/Medium. Then, blend in New Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation for a blur-matte look. Chappell Roan wears shade NW5.
- Pinch cheeks with Glow Play Cushiony Blush in So Natural for a soft flush of golden beige colour.
- Set and mattify your look with Studio Fix Pro Set + Blur Weightless Loose Powder in Translucent.
- Pencil in pin-thin brows with Pro Brow Definer 1mm-Tip Brow Pencil in Lingering and Spiked.
- Prime lids with Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Tailor Grey, blending into Black Mirror for a subtle smoky effect.
- Contour creases, brighten the inner corners and shade lids with Eye Shadow in Carbon, Scene, Cozy Grey and Greystone.
- Define upper and lower lash lines with Eye Kohl Eyeliner in Feline.
- Layer on infinite volume and length with M·A·CStack Mascara. Then, apply M·A·C LASH / 76 Supermodel Lash and M·A·C LASH / 80 Romantic Lash to upper and lower lash lines, and use Dazzleshadow Liquid Eye Shadow to adhere glitter to the tips.
