What is a good red lipstick?

I just love Ruby Woo Retro Matte Lipstick it's the "Little Black Dress" of red lipsticks! Easy to apply, long-wearing, with an intense colour payoff and a completely matte finish it's my perfect red for absolutey any occassion. It's a vivid red with blue undertones that is universally flattering. As it's a Retro Matte formula I would always suggest prepping the lips first before application.

To begin prepping the lips...

• Apply some Prep + Prime Lip, which is a colour-free base to wear under lipstick. It'll add light moisture whilst also smoothing and refining the lips. Apply a thin coat of this over entire lip area and over the lip edges too as it helps to reduce lipstick feathering.
• Then you can apply Ruby Woo easily in any way you like! I love to use a 316 Synthetic Lip Brush when applying mine as it gives me a beautiful crisp edge, and if you're like me and are constantly misplacing lipstick's on a night out, here's a handy tip for you!

PRO TIP

Build up a good amount of lipstick onto the 316 brush and then pop the casing back on, put it in your purse or handbag and voila! You have the perfect amount of lipstick on your brush ready to reapply throughout the night if needed without having to worry about taking the actual bullet with you! If you like your red lips to have a perfectly defined shape then finish off with the Ruby Woo Lip Pencil which will apply quickly and precisely with a texture that won't skip or drag on the skin.
