'SPIDER MOTHER' HALLOWEEN MAKEUP

My ‘Spider Mother’ look was inspired by a moment I had on the shop floor, was helping a customer out when I felt something tickling my arm, which I discovered to be a small money spider crawling up the side of me. I gently took it off me with a little resistance as it clung on with a bit of its web and let it go about it's day. I've done a few makeup looks in the past where I’ve blocked my eyebrows out and used something in place of them such as scattered crystals which created a really beautiful effect and I just used that same concept to create the look of spiders crawling all over my face. It’s heavily implied they’re coming from my mouth, hence the spider web lip art.”

HOW TO GET THE LOOK

Step 1

Prep the skin using Fix Plus, Strobe Cream and Prep and Prime Skin to create a hydrated smooth base.

Step 2

Block the brows using MAC Pro Full Coverage Palette and Studio Fix Powder pressed on top.

Step 3

Apply Face and Body Foundation using your fingers or a 187 brush.

Step 4

Contour the face using a darker foundation from our MAC Pro Full Coverage Palette.

Step 5

Bronze the skin using Mineralise Skinfinish in Dark, then apply Warm Soul Blusher.

Step 6

Using a 221 brush apply a soft smoky eye using the Connect in Colour Eyeshadow Palette - Embedded in Burgundy and line the eyes using Eye Kohl Phone Number, followed by Extra Dimension Mascara and #76 lashes.
