Even though this look relies on rich and moody cranberry shades, there’s a soft romanticism to their application. “It’s not so snatched,” says Barber. “There’s a smoky decadence…a little bit rounder with the eyes, blush that’s placed a bit higher on the cheek and a blurred lip.”

Like makeup trends in the 1920s, Cranberry Makeup marks an exciting shift for modern beauty. “Shapes are changing, colour tones are changing, moods are changing,” says Barber. “It’s a makeup renaissance.”
