Which is better lipstick or liquid lipstick?

At MAC we have an extremely large lip category which will definitely tailor to every customer's needs.

If you are looking for a lipstick that provides a rush of pigment-soaked colour in a velvety, mattest of matte finishes, with fantastic staying power and long durability our Retro Matte Liquid Lipsticks might be the one for you. They give the lip a great opaque finish, have that long wear factor and they are a perfect velvety matte compliment to the lip. This formula of lipstick will definitely be suited to a customer who is looking for those qualities in their lip products. They are also great for those special occasions where you need your lipstick to stay in place all day without any movement. Using the specially shaped applicator you can create precise, crisp lines and the formula of the lipstick prevents feathering so it is not always required to wear a lip liner with ths product. However teamed with a lip liner you can create depth or an ombre look and have much more precision to the application. Try teaming MAC Prep and Prime Lip with LadyBeGood and Soar Lip Pencil for that perfect warm mid-tone nude!

Our bullet lipsticks come in many different textures such as matte, satin, frost and lustre to name a few.
  • If you prefer a creamy rich formula that features a high colour payoff in a no-shine matte finish then our trusted Matte Lipsticks might just be what you're looking for. Try our showstopping shade of Russian Red paired with Cherry Lip Pencil for that perfect red lip.
  • If you prefer a lip product with more hydration that glides on easily with a lustrous finish then a lipstick from our Lustre range will suit your needs. They have a lightweight formula and a sheer-to-medium buildable coverage whilst saying super nouishing. I'd recommend trying Patisserie from this range for a super natural creamy neutral pink tone. Overall I wouldn't say one formula is better than the other, it's all about tailoring the finish to suit your needs whether it's for a special occassion or just an everyday wear lipstick.
